What an amazing night at the GUBA Awards on Sunday!
Platform2 was nominated for the Best Charity Award and although we didn't win we'd like to thank all those of you who voted for us - thank you!
Juliyaa - Platform2 Volunteer, Christian Aid Gapper and then VDO - won the award for Best New Act which is hardly surprising as she blew us all away with her performance on the night!

How was your weekend?
For hundreds of thousands of Christian Aid supporters it's been pretty manic!
Those of you who took on the challenge to Live Below the Line last week will be very glad it’s over! With our fundraising target reached and breached a whopping twice and money still coming in, the Platform2 team have raised £3,367 for Christian Aid.
Thank you to everyone who took part. We had a host of enthusiastic returnees participating in the UK and some in places as far afield as France and New Zealand. Returnees roped in as many people as they possibly could, with one even persuading her entire family to Live Below the Line!
We have opportunities in Leeds, Durham and Darlington for you to get involved. Can you spare a couple of hours? Here are the times and places where we are looking for volunteers to come, hold a collection bucket and smile at the general public:
Leeds train station – Get in touch with VDO Sarah if you are free between 7am and 7pm on Thursday the 19th May

A CELEBRATION OF SUSTAINABLE LIVING, GLOBALLY AND LOCALLY.

Yesterday we wrote about Soppexcca transforming the lives of those living in communities such as Los Alpes.
Amazing change in one community and we want to see this repeated wherever people are living in poverty.
Okay, what we really want is to hear your stories from a week of living on less than £1 a day.
But while you think about it and send us your stories, emails and photos why not check out this AMAZING flashmob all the way from LBTL friends in Tasmania - enjoy!
Many of you Living Below the Line last week missed your daily shot of caffeine. Christian Aid Week this year focuses on the work of Soppexcca, a collective of small coffee farming collectives and a Christian Aid partner organisation.
Hi everyone,
Those of you who log in regularly to the Platform2 site may have noticed some changes over the weekend. We've created a new bigger space to showcase some of the amazing things you have been doing since you got back.
We really want to hear from you now with stories, photos, videos, poems, blogs, artwork that we can share with other returnees and the wider world!
You can always get in touch with us through the contact page or just drop a note to Linda laanderson@christian-aid.org
How's it been for those of you Living Below The Line this week? We want to hear your stories and publish them here and on our FB page so get in touch through the Contacts page!
Huge congratulations to the Platform2 team who have almost reached our fundraising target - one more push and we could get there so do ask friends and families to support you!
